Ayurveda and Yoga in a nutshell

Ayurveda (sanskrit for the science of life) and Yoga (sanskrit for union) are part of the worlds oldest medical systems that trace their origins back to over 5,000 years ago from the sacred texts of the Vedas in India.

Ayurveda aims at balancing the 3 dhoshas or predominant energies called Vata, Pitta and Kapha in the body.
Yoga aims to balance the physical, mental and emotional bodies.

Both Yoga and Ayurveda are holistic, natural systems of healing to encourage balance and oneness.
