The wonder of Red Raspberry Leaf

Red raspberry leaf (Rubus idaeus)is one of those wonder herbs that we find ourselves turning to time and time again.  For women of any age, it is believed to balance hormones (always a good thing!) from womanhood through to menopause, tone the uterus and is highly nourishing to the reproductory and urinary systems.  DId you know that red raspberry leaf is rich in iron, vitamins C, E, and A, potassium, niacin and manganese (a trace mineral used by the body to produce healthy connective tissue)?

It is also an astringent herb (containing tannins) and is therefore a digestive tonic, helping to soothe inflammation of the digestive tract (great for men as well as women).

No wonder we use red raspberry leaf in one of our bestseller teas (along with some tasty additions as it can be a bit bitter by itself!)...drop by for a taste test...
